I am a very visual person and I need to see my plans, goals and accomplishments regularly. I have found that having a Vision Board really helps me stay on track with my mental wellness plan and even my steps to move through emotional storms and panic attacks. I have put vision boards into my planners, on my walls and I even have created an accordian style book with each two page spread showing my visions for different parts of my life.
I soon will recreate my mental wellness board as it is getting tattered - and I have learned some new skills that I want to have visible for me to remember to try them and use them.

Set an Intention: This for me is one of the most important parts. Before you start creating your vision board, set an intention. What do you want to achieve? What kind of life do you want to lead? Write down your intentions so you can refer back to them as you create your vision board.
Gather Supplies: You will need a poster board or cork board, magazines, scissors, glue, and any other decorative items you want to use.
Choose Images and Phrases: Flip through magazines and cut out images and phrases that represent your goals and aspirations. You can also print images from the internet or create your own.
Arrange and Glue: Arrange your images and phrases on your poster board or cork board. Experiment with different layouts until you find one that feels right. Once you are happy with the arrangement, glue your images and phrases onto the board.
Display Your Vision Board: Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it every day. This will help you stay motivated and focused on your goals.
