Seeing the light as it slips through the falling leaves, showing more and more light as the trees become bare, the sparkle of twilight as the sun shifts in the sky, giving us more night to cozy up in.
The clear light that belongs to October was making the landscape radiant.

As you move back into the darker part of this year, I hope you find ways to reclaim your peace. Small gems that when strung together over time, remind you of the sweetness in your life. I look forward to hearing your tales of how you keep your gems for future viewing and reminiscing.
I think I will keep a stack of little papers to write down my gems of peace as I find and create them. Then find ways to incorporate them into my daily rhythm, or maybe share them with the world..
I thought I would share a bit about what is happening around here. Have a peek into my days.
What I am…
The Whole Brain, by Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D. - I really like the scientific view that she brought to her experience of having a stroke, and how it changed the way she looks at her thought processes.
The Power of When by Michael Breus Ph.D. - I am fascinated by the idea that according to his system I am a DOLPHIN, though that feels not quite right. The reality is that I am looking at my current rhythms with fresh eyes because of this book. I have spent a few minutes after each reading session thinking about what small changes I can make that might help my days go more smoothly. I have even tried one or two…
The Positivity PodCast - Henry really hits home for me on almost every episode. He shares ways to shift from a lower vibration to a higher one, and how little things can make big changes. I love how he ends almost every episode with the same phrase “be the rising tide that lifts all ships’.
I have been playing in Canva - I am sure that you have seen some of my creations, but I also am learning more about how to create digital downloads for Lilly’s Etsy store EmeraldCityCanada - watch to see what I have come up with.
Ways to incorporate my spiritual life into daily practice, I am working towards creating time to have a small daily ritual that helps me feel more grounded in my life and soul.
Looking forward to
Seeing all of the fun Halloween Costumes that parade our streets
Watching leaves fall to the earth
Makes my spirit sing
